Rules of Disciplines


  • (1) Students should arrive at the school five minutes before the first bell. No Pupil who is late will enter the classroom unless she brings to the teacher a note from the Principal. Students are liable to be sent home for coming late to school.
  • (2) At the first bell all the students should make their way to the place of assembly in absolute silence. At the second bell the Assembly will commence.
  • (3) Changing of Class rooms between periods should be done in silence and in an orderly way.
  • (4) All the students should be habitually clean and neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn only in school and on all school functions for the public.
  • (5) All home work should be done neatly and the day's work always dated.
  • (6) The speaking of English is enforced within the school premises.
  • (7) No child should scratch or spoil the desks or any school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or in any way damage school property. Damage done, even accidentally, whether in the laboratories or the Library should be reported at once and the damages made good.
  • (8) Utmost care should be taken to keep the school premises clean. Do not litter the class-room or the school ground. Make use of the bins provided.
  • (9) No visitor will be permitted to see the students during class hours. No students will be sent home even if some urgent need arises unless the person who comes fetch her has a note of authority from the parent/guardian.
  • (10) Besides Text-books or library books no other books, magazines or papers may be brought to school.
  • (11) No one may lend or borrow any articles. Presents to teacher or other demonstrations in their honour require the previous sanction of the Principal. No collection for any purpose to be started without the prior permission of the Principal.
  • (12) The school is not responsible for personal goods lost in school. The name, class and section of the pupil should be marked on all her belongings. It is not advisable to bring valuable articles like jewelry to school.
  • (13) Students are not allowed to bring to the school, mobiles, magazines, books, CDs/Video cassettes or any other literature other than the school note books, text books and school library books. The Principal will take a serious view of any breach of the rule.
  • (14) All are expected to attend class on the opening day of the school after each of the vacations, failing which a severe fine will be imposed.
  • (15) Students are forbidden to leave the school premises during school hours without the express permission of the principal. Any breach of this rule is punishable by dismissal.
  • (16) Pupils who are absent from the school, for more than one day, are required to bring a LEAVE LETTER, duly signed by their parent/guardian stating the cause of absence. Those who fall to bring a leave letter on the day of their rejoining classes, after a period of absence, will not be allowed to attend the classes until they furnish the required letter.
  • (17) Dismissal: The School reserves the right to dismiss a student whose diligence or progress in studies is steadily unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other girls, immorality, grave insubordination or contempt of authority is always a sufficient reason for immediate dismissal. Any student found guilty of malpractice in connection with test or examination and who has an unhealthy influence on her fellow mates may be expelled permanently or removed from the school for a specified period by the head of the school.
  • (18) School fees are to be paid regularly as per directives in the fee booklet. No students will be permitted to appear for the terminal examinations unless all dues are cleared to date.
  • (19) Verbal requests through servants or relatives to allow children to go home before the school gets over will not be compiled with.
  • (20) Those who go home on foot and on their own vehicle should not loiter on the way but be prompt in returning home. Students are warned not to buy anything, especially eatables from street vendors.
  • (21) Wearing of a helmet is compulsory for those students who come to school by a two wheeler.
  • (22) Students should behave in a lady-like manner wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct among other things.
    1. (A) Provision is made by the school for games, sports and athletics.
    2. (B) Participation in sports, games, athletics and co-curricular activities is compulsory for all pupils of the school.
    3. (C) All School property should be treated with care.
    4. (D) Only the students of class XI-XII are allowed to come to school on two wheelers. Wearing a helmet is complulsory.
